A show beyond limits – “Sarabande”! The advanced theatre acting group “O trupă furtunoasă” has basically shown us “how it’s done”. They’ve worked on this body and soul and proven that, when you put in the passion and the effort, you can only get performance. Artistic, physical and technical performance. The actor’s work with themselves is the essence of acting, as we can see in “Sarabande”. We sincerely hope to see this become a recurring play. A masterful demonstration of the techniques they have gained in the advanced acting class!
Shakespeare and Chekhov have “duelled” in this show made up of a collage of several plays written by the two giants of universal playwriting, including Chekhov’s Seagull, Platonov and Three Sisters and Shakespeare’s Othello, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Romeo and Juliet, Richard III and The Taming of the Shrew.
Thank you for the support you have shown by coming to the event in such large numbers and we hope to continue to meet your expectations with similar productions!
